CyberUnite Project begins!

We are proud to see CyberUnite formally launched by the Higher Education Authority under Call 2 of the North–South Research Programme.

CyberUnite is one of four all-island research collaborations funded through this initiative and brings together an exceptional partnership: University of Limerick, CSIT Queen's University Belfast, Nimbus Research Centre Munster Technological University, University College Cork, and industry partner Gas Networks Ireland.

CyberUnite, co-led by Professor Donna O’Shea of UL’s School of Engineering and Dr. Kieran McLaughlin of Queen’s University Belfast’s Centre for Secure Information Technologies (CSIT), is a €4 million project that represents the first dedicated funding awarded by an Irish government agency to support collaborative research in cybersecurity and the partners met this month at the University of Limerick.
